Hindu Students Association (HSA) is a religious organization that brings Hindu/Indian culture and traditions to the University of Texas at Austin and develops awareness of Hinduism around the Austin community. You will find a link to our full website here.

HSA has received numerous awards for its rich cultural events:

Swing Out Award for Most Outstanding Organization (2010, 2018)
Swing Out Award for Best Cultural Organization (6 times in the past 7 years), presented by the Leadership and Ethics Institute at UT
Swing Out Award for Healthiest Organization (2018)
Award for Best Risk Management Program
RAISE Excellence Award for Best Cultural Organization (2012, 2013)

HSA hosts several large events on the UT campus that are completely free and open to the public. We would love for you to come out! Sankranti - Jan. 26th, 1-4 pm
- Activities include kite flying and other outdoor games
Hinduism Awareness Week (HAW) - February 17th - 22nd, 2019
- Activities include an interfaith panel, mela, and Milan (performing arts showcase)
Holi - Sunday, March 31st, 2019
- For the past two years, we have had over 7,000 attendees
